Photo Premier: Durand Beach

The photograph “Durand Beach” was taken last fall. I was attracted to a region of the beach where there was a quiet reflecting pool formed by the gentle waves. The beach is beautiful with the fall foliage helping to demonstrate the location as one that may not be particularly exotic. We are fortunate in Rochester to have seen that with the clean-up of the Great Lakes our “north coast” beach can compete with most anywhere for its appeal and attraction. The photograph, printed on canvas is a part of my current exhibit at Image City Photography Gallery in the show “Through the Student Lens”. I have a companion print in the exhibit at High Falls Gallery in the “Photographer’s Path 14″.
